Upcoming Release:
Snug Harbor Press is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Ghost Girls, Book Two: The Ghost at Widower's Pond. This second installment in the Ghost Girls series of books written by Karen Chilton and illustrated by Gary McCluskey will be available on 09.09.09, with a pre-order campaign beginning in July, 2009.
“Write Stuff” Winners
Congratulations to Katie Cunningham, the first place winner of the very first-ever Snug Harbor Press “Write Stuff” contest for young authors! Her story, Prairie Blizzard of 1889, was chosen for the originality of its subject matter as well as the author's skill in describing her characters and setting.

We received more than 50 entries from around the United States (all in the 10-12 age group; I suppose we now know for certain the age group to which Ghost Girls Books appeal). Our thanks to all who took the time to write and submit their stories. This was a wonderful way to kick off this series of contests for young authors. Details on the next contest will be coming soon!
